This unit is completely safe, but as with all electrical appliances, certain
INSTALLATIONrules should be followed:
- Connect to an appropriate 220V
AC wall plug and switch on.
- The fluorescent
tube and warning pilot light will burn.

To change the
- Disconnect the
unit from the input power and discharge the capacitors by inserting an
isolated screwdriver between the grids.
- Remove the
protection grid by inserting the screwdriver between the protection grid
and the side to loosen the grip on the pins.
- Turn the tube a
quarter turn in any direction and slide out. Replace the tube by pushing the pins of the tube into the
lamp holders and turn until it clicks into position.
- To replace
protection grid. Place back in
original position and press to clip over pins.
- To clean the collecting tray, simply slide it out from
the side to clean it. Replace the same way. Clean tray
